GPS
How can I get better GPS accuracy?
Garmin handheld units usually get 5-15 meter accuracy. If you have WAAS reception and a WAAS-enabled GPS unit, you can usually get 2-5 meter accuracy.
Trimble units usually get around 1 meter accuracy using WAAS reception. You can also differentially correct GPS data gathered from a Trimble using Differential GPS (DGPS).
